Barely 2 games into the season and United's stuttering season has yet to get of to an explosive start. Obtaining 2 points out of 6 is by no means championship form. With all our rivals hitting the ground running collecting maximum points and Chelsea making it 6 points out of 6 last night, that eerie chill runs down your spine and you begin to wonder come season end how its gonna be.
Granted its a long season and 2 draws is much better then 2 defeats. But having said that, after splashing 60 million pounds in the close season, I really thought we'd have been smashing in the goals. We might have, I still feel, if the manager used those players. Season opener, none was used with Nani, (the least hyped of the lot) on the bench. Where is Anderson and Hargreaves? Last night same thing. Common sense would tell you that after spending that much of cash on them, they would at least be deserving of a place on the bench.
Honestly, I think the season is over for us. Well at least the Premiership is. But granted it is a long season. I want to hope for the best but can't help thinking of the worse. Hopefully we'll finish second and win the FA Cup and the Champions League. That wouldn't be so bad now would it?
