Snake Attack!

Like any other long day that was coming to an end, yesterday seemed like a dull gloomy day. Furthermore with all the rain, it just made you wanna sleep in all day. As it is the durian season now, we deceded to buy a few fruits and come enjoy them at home, outside, in the garden. That was until we saw IT...

(hope you guys can see it in the picture, I turned the flash off as I didnt wanna scare the bugger, or more like I didn't want it running about scaring us!)

Then we called the bomba, thinking of sparing him his life... Poor little baby snake. But then the bugger started running away. I couldn't have slept well knowing a snake is loose around the place. He tried running away and we had to hit it with a hockey stick. Poor little baby python (i think?)

GRAPHIC CONTENT BELOW. VIEWVER DISCRRETION IS ADVISED!

We never meant to kill it. I swear. I'm totally not for cruelty to animals, but it was for our safety that we did what we did. If not would we have even bothered callin the Bomba? 6 guys living in a house and for a 3 feet snake we called the fire brigade! They were equally amused by our lack of bravery. But it was safety first more than anything. And also we aren't murderers, we genuinely wanted to have it taken away alive.

Well I guess this is somethin that we'll never forget. It really was a memorable experience. I feel like I'm living in a wild life park. We see monitor lizards walking around the place all the time. All I need now is to see a tiger or something coming out from that jungle next to my house... AHHH! Hope that doesn't happen anytime soon...

10 requirements to being a lousy Surgeon

1. Arrogance

2. Ability to insult undergraduates

3. Ego the size of a football field (at the very least)

4. Ability to keep your students waiting for hours

5. Pass derogatory remarks about students upbringing

6. Always imply that your field is superior to that of any other physician

7. Cannot accept being wrong

8. Speak in a loud tone so everyone knows you are a surgeon and a lecturer, and your students
are useless

9. Brag about your time of study or your acheivements

10. Always assume that your students aren't spending time in the wards or the OT

If you are a surgeon, or your surgery lecturer has 5 out of this, it fulfills micah's criteria to label him/her a lousy surgeon cum lecturer. (Empty vessels make the most noise no?) .

To be a great surgeon, you should have none of this.

"There is a tide in the affairs of men
Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries."

Congratulations?!!

Well its been well documented by now... Pak Lah is hookin up again.. gettin down and jiggy with it! You go Pak Lah... Malaysia Boleh!... Semua Boleh!!

Age is not a barrier to our dearest Pak Lah, he has shown what a dedicated leader he is, settin the example for fellow malaysians! A perfect family must consist of a father, children and a mother (replaceable!).

In a time when roof's are leaking and 'parliment members are leaking' (no offence here, just pointing out some things), Pak Lah still has all the time to sort out family matters... Well I guess he's got a good Works Minister, well experienced and all..

Bet those leaks are gonna be sorted out in no time! Samy is there...

Oh god.. the circus truly has come to town... Somebody pls bring back Dr. M...

Longest 2 weeks
